Eastsport Backpack A Big Hit By Alicia Bodine on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I usually buy my daughter backpacks that have characters on them like Dora, but her current backpack had a broken zipper. So I headed over to Wal-mart to purchase a new one. Since it isn't school supply season there were no character backpacks. I decided to purchase the Eastsport backpack in pink of course.

I was so surpised when I got home to find all the extra's the bookbag had. Inside one of the front pockets was a sandwich container equipped with it's own reusable silverware. In the side pcket was a water bottle which is great for soccer and softball season. I was also amazed at how many pockets the bag had including a spot for your pencils.

I have been using the bag for over 4 weeks now and I continued to be amazed. My daughter is disabled so it basically gets used as a diaper bag/school back pack. It fits 4 diapers, package of wipes, complete extra outfit, towel and bathing suit for swim class, bibs, her pressure vest, daily school folder, and her lunch. That's just in the main part of the bag. I usually keep a water bottle for myself in the one side pocket with her sippy cup in the other. I can put my cell phone, wallet, and keys in another section so I don't have to tote my pocketbook too. I am not even joking, there is still more room.

At $14.96 this bag is extremely affordable and perfect for all of your child's school needs.
