Easy Crafts From Household Items By a-w-omyn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a great book, if you're looking to do crafts, particularly with kids. The items needed in order to do any of the crafts are easy to find, and most of them you probably already have around your home (i.e. egg cartons, glue...).

The crafts are divided into sections. Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, Easter, and "Everyday" are the various sections, with crafts pertaining specifically to those subjects.

There are some great pictures of the completed crafts, for most of them. There's a materials list, so that you can look up a craft by what it calls for, if you're looking for something you can do with an egg carton, or what-have-you. And, the instructions are very clear and detailed.

I've used this book to find something my kids can do on a rainy day, and I know daycare workers who have also used it for their classrooms.
