My husband bought this 4M Easy Knit for my daughter last year before her long summer vacation. She was adamant to use it at first because she did not know how to knit and did not seem to interest her. I showed her books on knitting and the various things you could do with that activity simply using 2 knitting needles and a yarn. The possibilities were endless, I told her. That seemed to sink in her so she started her simple project which was a thin scarf. The scarf was for my mom for her Christmas.
She enjoyed making the scarf on her own. She read the instructions on her own and only ask for assistance during the set-up process of putting the yarn onto the circular knitting reel and then she did the rest.
I was amazed by how she managed to finish the scarf in time for Christmas of 2008! My mom was so delighted to see her Christmas present and said she would be able to use it when she goes to UK. I am so proud of my daughter!
This Easy Knit Kit is indeed easy to use. There is a small leaflet inside for instructions on how to begin your project. The kit contains an 18-pronged knitting reel, coloured wool and a crochet hook.
