Ecotrin was prescribed for my husband after heart surgery.He was put on 325mg and they wanted him to have the coated tablets because of stomach issues. If taken daily they can contribute to a healthy heart. They keep the blood from clotting making it thinner and flowing to the heart.The #1 recommended aspirin by Cardiologists for heart surgery patients.
WARNING: DO NOT TAKE WITH BLOOD THINNERS
The usual adult dosage is 1 to 2 tablets every four hours. Used for minor aches and pains. The bottle carries the usual alerts and warnings for the aspirin and should be read to make sure this is for you.
My husband had to get off of this when he was put on Blood thinners. Now he uses Tylenol which has no aspirin.
