The Bottom Line: We love this car seat and would highly recommend it to others!

To be honest, one reason we liked this car seat was because it was Eddie Bauer. That brand has a great reputation of wonderful quality and it also matched our type of car. Bonus! We also liked the color of it (tan) as it seemed to work perfectly for either a boy or a girl. The cup holder is a great addition, as are the side compartments for storing toys, sippy cups, etc.

We really liked how this car would last us for a long time too. We used the infant carrier we bought for the first few months then switched to this car seat while our child was still rear-facing. Now, she is forward-facing and she looks so comfortable in it! The padded head area is a nice touch and the straps stay put well.

As other reviews have mentioned, tightening the straps can be cumbersome, but not too difficult. You just have to pull a bit harder than you may be expecting to.

Overall, we have had no problems with this car seat and would definitely recommend it to other parents, grandparents, babysitters, etc. There was one recall for this car seat (because our seat was made before a particular date), but we received the new strap quickly and the installation was very easy.
