Eddie Bauer Deluxe Infant Car Seat
By jayjay1113 onI purchased this car seat to take my 5lb 11oz son home from the hospital. With him being so small, I wanted a car seat that had lots of support as well as a 5 point harnes so I could safely bring my baby home.
My model has sage, beige and brown coloured fabric. It came with an extra infant headrest insert as well as leg inserts. These inserts could easily be installed or removed as they are fastened to the seat with velcro. It also came with a base that was easy to install in our SUV 'sUniversal Anchorage System. The manual the came with it has lots of diagrams demonstrating different ways of securing an infant in your car.
The real test came when my husband brought the seat to the hospital. We were able to put our small baby into the car seat and with the extra added support inserts, he fit snugly into it. Piece of mind is priceless, especially when it comes to the safety of your baby and this car seat delivers. Just buy one and see for yourself!
Hadn't thought about the difficulties of transporting a very small baby. Thanks for the good information.
I didn't know any infant seat came with leg inserts, that's great for small/preemie babies. My full term 7 pounder was a bit too small for her carseat, leg inserts would have been great at that point.
