Eddie Bauer Designer 22 Car Seat

When our last grandchild was born ,we purchased this Eddie Bauer car seat. It had a 5 point harness system, seemto look real nice and durable. It had a soft grip handle,a canopy with a window,3 reclining positions, and came in many colors. The seat comes with an in car base that is equipped with a hatch or can be used with your car seat belts. A lever in the back is forquick release, and a center harnessfor adjustment.The babywas youngand we were sure to postion him so he was rearfacing ,trying to keep him safe. Everything seem to be find.One day i was reading recalls andfound this car seat to have some bad reviews. It seems there has been some concerns about the seat separating from the base. Suggestions were to use no base and use car seat belts. So if you have one of these, please check out.,sold between Jan .2001 and March 2009.

We still like the car seat, but i wish i had read the article before purchasing, that would have impacted my decision to buy this car seat .
