Effexor XR
By Snukomes onI have suffered from depression for a good part of my young adult life.I have been on several different antidepressants.They all seemed to work quite well, for a time period.After being on the meds for a year or so, the effectiveness wears off.I started on effexor about 2 years ago, and after weening my self up to 225mg I was at a very therapeautic dose.This medicine worked very well for my depression.If someone is going to be on antidepressants long term I would highly recommend Effexor XR(extended release).But if you are only planning on being them for a short period or would like to ween off of these meds, then do not start taking Effexor.My husband and I are talking about having another child and this medication is not recommended during pregnancy, so I decided to have my doctor ween me off of this medication.Let me tell you it was the worst time of my life.It took me several months and serious serious side affects, it was completely awful.I am now completely weened off and am taking something that is more pregnancy friendly.
i have had success with these too.i went off them once and i also had very bad side affects
I have friends that have used Efflexor for chronic depression. Both of them had issues with going off the meds, but loved them while they were on a daily use regimen.
