Electrasol: Is It Really A Good Dishwashing Agent? By Victoria_Trix on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I, like so many others, have a special love for my dishwasher. I grew up without one but once I was on my own I found I couldn't live without it. No more sink pan hands for me, that's for sure.

In my quest to find a great dishwashing product I have tried almost everything on the market, some were good others not so great. Last week I picked up a box of Electrasol Powerball tabs 3 in 1 with Jet-Dry Shine. The box contained 20 dishwashing tabs. You just drop the tab in the door of your dishwasher, close the flap and start it up. No messy liquid to deal with that can get all over the place, sounds simple and it was.

I came back a little while later to put the dishes away and that's when the excitement of a new product went out the window. I opened the dishwasher door only time find the plates still had stuck on food and the wineglasses from dinner had spots! The Jet-Dry in the Electrasol Tab should have gotten rid of the spots on the wine glasses but it didn't. The Electrasol should have cleaned the stuck on food all over the plates but these dishwashing tabs failed at that too.I did try washing another load of dishes but sadly the outcome was very similar to the first try. I think that the dishwashing agent should clean the dishes just as good if not better than I would by hand. Electrasol missed the mark on this one.
