Electric Boot Warmers By Olin Froid on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
For those who can't enjoy time on a snowmobile, there is usually one sound, simple complaint...IT IS TOO COLD! But what if there was a way to keep that from becoming true?
There is a product on the market called Hot Shots insole electric boot warmers. Now even though snowmobile time is not my area of interest, snow skiing is. And when you walk into a ski shop, you see and try all the new things. This is one of them.
Basically, they can plug into the electrical system of the snowmobile and then insole sits inside your boot. Once plugged in, they quickly start to warm up your toes. They take little power to run, and can be switched on and off. The nice thing about these? They get warm quick! And you can turn them off and on as you can tolerate. They can be sized based on your shoe size as well.
The only drawback I saw to these was the size issue. If they are for you, they can't really be interchanged unless you share shoe sizes, so that means a pair for whoever rides. The other cool thing about these, the sign said anywhere you can plug into, they are useful--including ice fishermen, motorcycles or any other type of vehicle, so they are versatile.
Overall, a cool product and one to consider if you ride!

Wow, these sound great! My only complaint on my single long snowmobile ride was my cold hands and feet.
For those who need power toys to have a good time, these sound great!
These would be great for my husband on the four wheeler when he is in the UP hunting! Good Christmas idea! Thanks.
What a unique product! You think I would have heard of it before since Ilive in Minnesota, but I never have! Thanks for sharing so I now know they have stuff like this!!
oooo these sound wonderful for those icy cold winter days when you just can't get warm enough ad you are outdoors.
Great product! I've never been on a snowmobile, but I would imagine that your feet and hands would be extra cold on one.
Great product, sounds good to me! ;) Thanks.

Those sound pretty neat. Thanks for the review - I need to see if my friend has heard of these so he can mention them on his new motorcycle show.
