The KitchenAid mixer has been around a long time and there is a reason why. They are what I consider the best mixers on the market. They are effiecient and with care will last a life time. I really like the way the attachments are so easy to put on and remove. Several attachments come with the mixer but you can also buy extra ones that you think you might use most often or for those special occasion recipes. You can also buy more bowls. I love the stainless steel bowls. They come with storage lids and pouring spouts. This mixer will hold up to even the toughest mixing jobs. I prefer the white but it comes in more colors to match your kitchen than any I have ever seen. It is very easy to lift the mixer up and down from the bowl so you can stir in any that has gotten stuck to the sides. Also it has many speeds and will not throw the food everywhere when you are mixing at high speeds.
