Electric Self Cleaning Range By groovyg on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My Kenmore thirty inch slide in electric range has some good points and some bad points. The best feature for me is that it is self-cleaning and it does a very good job of that. Of course there is still some work to be done by hand but it makes it so much easier. The top raises up so you can easily clean up anything that spilled over into the holes of the element pans. The surface underneath and the over has a surface finish that is really easy to clean, food does not easily stick to it. I like the digital overn control, clock and timer, they are easy to read and easy to set. The stove has bake, hight and low broil, clean and off.It has up and down arrows to set the cooking time and the clock. It alsohas a delay start time if you want something to start cooking before you get home. I had a little trouble finding new drip pans to fit but I finally found them at Lowe's.
