E.L.F. Nail Polish Fun By eclecticbird on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I first found E.L.F. products I knew it was true love. I absolutely love to try new makeup but I don't wear it all that often so it usually isn't worth $10-$50 per product for me to just play with it. But with ELF products everything is $1, how could I resist?

I bought three different nail colors. I imediately painted my hands one color and toes another :) I used one coat on one hand and two on the other just to test it out. The hand with one coat was a lighter color, which is good if you want a less intense experience. Unfortunately, the one coat only lasted a day. Even with two coats it shouldn't be considered long lasting...there were chips on the second day. However, for $1 I'm ok with that as I usually don't want my nails painted the same color for long periods of time anyway. In addition I do have a newborn and wash my hands a LOT which probably contributed to the quick chipping.

On to the toes. The color lasted over a week with no chipping and on the second week only minor chipping. I chose the black which sounds like it would look funny but really looks great :)

Overall I highly recommend this product for pedicures and to bring out the slumber party teeny bopper in you who loves to try on new makeup and crazy trends :) If you are looking for a polish for a long lasting manicure thought, you might want to look elsewhere.
