This kit of fake eyelashes by ELF does only cost $1. However, when the glue doesn't work, you can't use them! I thought that these eyelashes would do for a night out. I have only worn fake eyelashes once before, so I am not a prfessional at putting them on, but I have done it before. However, the glue that comes with these is useless. It isn't strong enough to keep the eyelashes on your lid, no matter how long you let it become tacky. Furthermore, the glue residue that stays on your eyelids is impossible to remove, so you end up with weird sticky bits on your face. Also, the eyelashes themselves aren't particularily well made. The individula lashes are stuck together in some places, and missing in others. I don't think I'll buy these lashes again, it would be much better to buy a good set that are functional.
