Elite Beat Agents is a touch rhythm game that incorporates modern American music. EBA puts you in the shoes of the government squad that comes to anyones aid when they are in trouble. The various storylines have you helping someone woo a woman, driving a woman to the hospital to deliver her baby, and even saving the world. The story plays out on the world map where various levels show you the person and the song for the sequence. One you start, clips from the story run on the top screen while the game is on the bottom. The small storylines are cute and serve as a nice break between rounds.

The actual game has you tapping out the beat of a particular song. Songs may have you holding notes or doing drum rhythms. Missing a certain amount of notes causes you to fail a round, and each song has 3-5 rounds. Passing or failing affects the storyline clips that are shown. Overall game play is a lot of fun if you enjoy rhythm games, and most of the songs are laid out well on the screen.

EBA is a great travel game since you can play a song at a time to slowly clear the game. With over sixteen songs, theres enough here to keep anyone entertained.
