Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Perfume By Willow on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was lucky to receive this perfume as a gift. It came in a simple box without any fancy logos or pictures; the tan box only had Elizabeth Arden and 5th Avenue written on it. Inside, I found a long glass tube with a golden lid; under the lid there was a spray top. I sprayed some perfume on my wrist and immediately loved the fragrance. I would describe it as mildly sweet mixed with freshness. As I wore it throughout the day, the sweetness diminished, somewhat, and the scent had become more delicate (but not weak).

The perfume is long-lasting and economical. I would only do a couple of sprays in the morning, and it was enough to enjoy the fragrance all day. The 15 ml bottle would have lasted me for a very long time, if it wasn't for an unfortunate accident. I took the perfume with me on an airplane trip, and despite the bottle being tightly closed, it had leaked out during the flight - all of it. I am not sure why it had happened. Not that it affects the quality of this perfume in any way, but I thought I would mention he fact in my review so that the readers know that it may not travel well.
