Elizabeth Arden Red Door Eau de Toilette Spray
By Willow onElizabeth Arden Red Door Eau de Toilette Spray is sold in several different sizes, the smallest I've seen is 10 ml (around $10) and the largest one 50 ml (around $30). The bottle with a semicircular red lid looks simple yet stylish. Its small spray pump delivers small, pointed squirts of perfume.
The fragrance is very unique, I would describe it as sweet and floral. I can be rather picky about floral fragrances, but I find this one pleasant. I think I can detect rose and lily, mixed with some other, exotic, flower I cannot define. I really like this hint of lily. The box has a "scratch to try the scent" spot on it, but from my experience it gives only a vague idea of what the fragrance is like. The perfume smells different if you remove the cap and sniff the bottle, and even more different on the skin. As I first tried this perfume, I thought it was a bit too strong, so I did not apply a lot. The two small squirts I had done lasted for about half a day.

I wore Red Door for many years. it is a fresh floral but it is very subtle, which I like. I bought Red Door when Arden stopped carrying my signature fragrance Cabriole. Loved it so much. when I found Red Door it had that same softness I loved so well.
This used to be moy mothers favorite perfume. She had bottles and bottles of it.
I haven't worn perfume in years, but when I did Red Door was my favorite. I still remember when I got my first bottle for Christmas. I was so excited.
I might have to try this perfume. The way you described it it sounds very nice.
I used to work in a drugstore that sold Red Door. I agree with it being a strong scent. I haven't ever worn it because I just can't get past the strong floral scent.
