Elmer School Glue By April on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

After cleaning up countless "artwork" created by my six-year-old daughter, I decided enough was enough. I hated the mess that her drip glue was leaving behind, as well as having to clean the spout over and over for her to pour it on her projects. It was time to buy a glue stick! If you have ever gone down the glue part of the stationary aisle, you know there are more than a dozen varieties to choose from. I picked Elmer's brand, knowing it was a brand I could trust. It was a purple glue stick, but the packaging said it would dry clear. For me, that was peace of mind, so when my daughter had more artwork to glue together, I could see the mess and get it cleaned up before it would dry. The package did not lie, the glue stick was definetely purple, but it dried clear! Since I bought that first glue stick, I have thrown away all my other squeeze glues and use Elmer's glue stick primarily. You cannot go wrong with Elmer's!
