Elves, Elves and More Elves!
By Alice onI've been to my first holiday craft shows of the year and found these adorable elf ornaments. My oldest daughter collects elves so I thought these would be perfect for her Christmas tree or perhaps to decorate a wreath.
I almost missed this booth but when I did notice it I scooped up all the versions of the elves that were there.I can't believe how much work went into making them and the craft person was only asking $3.00 for each of them.
I appreciate all the hard work that went into making these. The bodies are made of a wooden clothes pin and were painted to match the outfit. Each elf wears a coat and contrasting colored collar made from felt. The heads (I'm thinking these are styrofoam balls) were painted a flesh color, the cutest elf face painted on, and then topped off with a hat.Of course there are little elf shoes which have tiny bells on the end of each one as does the hat.
Each elf is unique and has its own personality:
Elf #1 - Navy blue w/yellow accents and holding a present and a horn
Elf #2 - Light purple w/cranberry accents and holding a present and teddy bear
Elf #3 - Light blue w/dark blue accents and holding a present and a sailboat
Efl #4 - Green w/red accents and holding a present and drum set
Elf #5 - Green w/red accents and covered with a string of Christmas lights
There are many talented people out there, check out the craft shows in your area and support them.I'm hoping my daughter likes these little elves as much as I do and that they bring her many years of joy.

These are marvellous, so creative. I'm sure your daughter will love them.
