Elvis: What Happended? By Tony on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This book is fascinating!

Written by three former Presley bodygaurds and memebers of the 'Memphis Mafia," this book chronicles the other, much darker side of Elvis. Told in first persona ccounts, the book chronicles many random situations Elvis found himself in throughout his years of fame.

Before reading this book, I have heard and perhaps beleived many of the rumors about the eccentricities of Elvis. Reading specific stories of his exploits were riviting. The book chronicles his escapades with women, guns, karate and spedning loads and loads of money. I was hooked from page one.

What I liked most about this book is that it didn't seem to be a revenge motivated tell all. Instead, you can tell the authors really cared for Elvis and wrote the book more as a plea for him to "snap out of it." It is important to note, the book was released before Presley's death.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to dig a little bit deeper into the life of Elvis.
