I recently bought the emachines 17" flat screen monitor. I really like this monitor. It is super thin which is what I really needed due to the fact that I have limited space on my desk. This takes up hardly any room. With my old monitor, I could barely fit my other computer parts( keyboard, mouse etc.). I also have to tell you that the picture quality is really good. I think the price for this monitor is a little more than you could spend, but I felt like it was worth it to be able to have such a slim, sleek monitor with a clear picture. I don't like the look of the old fashioned rounded screen monitors. It's nice to have a screen that's got a good enough quality to actually watch dvd's on too. My kids love it and are begging for one for their computer now too.
