Emergen C Super Energy Booster By Joss on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
All my life I used capsules and tablets vitamin supplements, this is the first time I try a vitamin supplement like this and I want to share my opinion about Emergen-C Super Energy Booster. This is a flavored drink mix, I tried the cranberry and strawberry flavors.
The cranberry one includes 1,000 mg of vitamin C and other 32 mineral complexes. The strawberry flavored is a multivitamin. I tried the cranberry flavored and the taste is terrible in my opinion. Mixed in 4-6 oz of water I only drink it because I needed a boost of energy it promises.
Then tried the strawberry and it was not bad at all. The results of the boost was not what I expected, this is because I take vitamins daily and in higher amounts. Maybe if someone that never takes vitamins try Emergen-C Super Energy Booster the results will be better.
Overall this is a product made with a good intention but is far away from being a Super Energy Booster. If you compare that a daily dose of Emergen-C cost $1.18 and a bottle of multivitamins cost $3.99 (less than 7 cents a day) and last me for about 2 months (less than 7 cents a day), you know that you are paying too much. For the intelligent consumer I recommend a bottle of multivitamins.
