Emergency Lamp! By mariamrose on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this emergency lamp last week. We shifted to this new place three months back. The last place where we stayed had inverter facility. Here they don't provide that. Initially there were very few electricity faults. But as soon as monsoon (rainy season) came, current cuts became frequent.

I thought of buying inverter first, and then as we will have another transfer in nearby future, my husband suggested that we buy an emergency lamp.

My uncle suggested this. So far it is ok. Lighting is good. It has two powerful tubes and two reflectors. We can use one tube or both as per the requirement. Even with one tube it gives out sufficient light.

With full charge, they say, it will work continuously for 7 hours. The look and style is good.

But it can't be compared with inverter, as it will provide light to only one or maximum two rooms.
