Emerson Vhs Dv D Player By John Barrey on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

A friend bought this for the family on christmas at Wal-Mart for $120 bucks. The thing is horrible and it doesnt work so great. The dvd slot doesnt open you have to take something really thin to stick in the slot and force it open. The vhs tapes get damage and trapped inside the VHS section. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Its better to get a decent product one time and enjoy it. Even if this was a gift, it was still a big pain....

And believe it or not the company was not too much of a help either. They have a 1800 number support line of top of the product and when you called they tell you to do this that and a third. It even messed up my mother wedding tape, it was a good thing we had 2 more copies of it. At least we was lucky, if you purchase this procut you might not be so lucky to have extra copies. The remote control is horrible you have to be standing directly in front of it for it to work. You can sit down in the living room and use it. You have to get up and than stand right in front of it. BAD PRODUCT.
