Enchanted Arms

Enchanted Arms is an Action RPG for the Xbox 360 game system. Enchanted Arms is the first RPG released for the straight. An Eastern RPG, Enchanted Arms is riddled with the expected cliches you've come to know from many previous JRPGs. Enchanted Arms is a beautiful game with an orchestral score that's plenty pleasant for the non-picky gamer. However, the gameplay leaves a bit to be desired. I found the turnbased grid-style strategy combat fun, though tedious and occasionally frustrating. The voiceacting was about as pleasant to listen to as nails on a chalkboard. In the game, you're an Enchanter with a rare, special type of right arm that can drain energy and create golems to fight for you. Vaguely reminiscent of Pokemon, you'll fight your way across the open, depressingly linear world to save the world and your friends. Overall, a decent rental, but not worth a purchase, in my opinion.
