Endulge in Sweet Pineapple and Jasmine
By crunkyjens onWhen it comes to candles and their scents I am a fruit person all the way.I can't stand flowery smells, unless they're lavender or lilies of the valley. Also those beachy, watery scents do nothing for me as well.I'm a fruit girl!
While browsing in Home Goods yesterday I came across this Yankee Candle jar.I opened it up, took a wiff, and tossed into my cart.Simple as that! Its scent is supposed to be pineapple & jasmine. So you would think with what I just said I wouldn't like it, but it's heavenly. The only scent I can detect is that of the pineapple and pineapple is one of my favorite smells. The jar candle is 12.3 oz, and was $7.99.I think the compare to price was $14.99 if I'm not mistaken.
I know Yankee Candle is a very well known brand that is famous for their long lasting and long smell lasting candles.Even though it was $7.99 and more then I would normally pay for a candle, I bought it anyway.(Thank you tax stimulus!haha)
Instead of burning the candle like normal, I placed it on one of those nifty heating plates and it works wonders.Within about 15 minutes my whole living room and kitchen of my apartment smelled like sweet pineapple!I was in heaven!!If you have some place in your hometown that sells Yankee candles I would definitely check out this scent, it's amazing!

Love pineapple, of course I lived in Hawaii for 7 years, maybe thats why! Thanks for the great information.
I like the scent of pineapple but the jasmine intrigues me. I can't imagine the two of those scents together. Yankee candles are fantastic. I never thought about putting them on a warmer instead of burning them. Great tip.
I think jasmine is a subtle scent which is why you only notice the pineapple smell but it is probably the blend of both that makes it smell so good.
Mmmmmm... Pineapple! Just put this baby on the hot plate in front of your Hawaiian Breeze fan with a little Island music and you will be swept away.... ;-)
I don't think I've ever had a pineapple candle.
I love Yankee candles, but I've never used a warmer for them. Maybe I'll get one and start using it so my candles will last longer.
How we like those Yankee candles.
