Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is the follow up to the free multiplayer FPS Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. I will start by saying that if you were a fan of Wolfenstein: ET or Return to Castle Wolfenstein then go out and buy this game now. The gameplay is very identical except that it has had an upgrade. Splash Damage added vehicles to the mix but made them farely weak; fast paced intense infantry combat is still the focus. ET: QW relies heavily on objective based team play. This means that in a map you will be required to destroy an objective, escort a tank, etc. to progress or win. Team play is huge; if your team does not play well together you will most likely lose. On the other hand the XP system allows you to have fun even if your team is getting dominated. I definitely reccomend ET: QW to any fans of multiplayer first person shooters.
