I am not fortunate to breastfeed my kids upon birth because there's no milk flowing from me. Even I use a breast pump only few can be extracted. I tried to get my back be massaged to help me lactate but still got no milk. My pediatrician prescribed this Enfalac A+ Infant Formula milk for my boy. At first I am planning to use the same infant formula milk I used with my daughter but I changed my mind and tried this brand since that was 4 years ago.

Enfalac A+ during that time is highly recommended by pediatricians for babies from newborn up to 6 months during those times. It is considered as closest to mother's milk because it contains essential nutrients and has higher DHA and ARA content necessary for infant development. The formula is kind of light yellowish in color and the formulation is 1 scoop of milk per 1 oz of water. I started making 2 ounces of it every 4 hours and gradually increase as he aged. The mixture is less thick and my boy got used to it and found no difficulty with the formulation.

Although this brand is one of the expensive brands for infants, I could say my boy just got the nutrients he needs from breast milk. Actually the last milk he used was the Enfakid A+ (for 4 years old and above) and I think it helps on his physical and mental growth very much. He seldom get sick, smart and a very active kid.

My body also produces next to no milk so I have not been fortunately enough to breast feed my baby either. Formula reviews are always helpful
