Enterprise Rent A Car
By Chenault onI was having some issues with my car which made my husband worry about me driving it very far. I needed to head south of where we live by a few hours drive, and we knew my car was not going to be an option.
He suggested I rent a car, and of course I did not object to that idea! We had rented a car at Enterprise last winter for a trip we took so I did not hesitate to use their services again.
I rented a Pontiac Vibe, I am not sure which year it was, honestly I am not that interested in vehicles. The car was well maintained, clean and drove very nicely. It was also afford ably priced and got great gas mileage.
I paid less than $40 per day for this rental. I was interested in the smallest economy car they had, but unfortunately the selection was quite limited at this location.
It was a good thing I did not attempt to drive my car on this trip, not even a week later I broke down with some major mechanical issues!
I have heard a lot of terrible things about Enterprise Rent A Car, but in my experience I have been extremely pleased with their service.
We are not using credit cards anymore, but this is not an issue to rent a car. We needed to supply 2 utility bills and paystubs the first time we rented, but not the second time. This was not a problem. Enterprise will place a $250 hold on your debit card until the car is returned in good condition. As the vehicle is returned they will take the hold off of your debit card and charge you only what you owe for the rental.
I have heard some people claim it took weeks to get the hold taken off their card, that was not the case with me. My hold was released immediately both times I rented from Enterprise.
I will continue to use this agency whenever I plan to do a lot of driving. It is affordable, it is easier than taking my car in to have it tuned up and so on, plus it saves wear and tear on my own vehicle, and it is kinda fun to rent a car sometimes. Who does not like a little variety from time to time?
