Epcot ROCKS!
By sndfan2 onI remember hearing all the news when EPCOT first opened many years ago, and thinking to my teenaged self, "Who would want to go LEARN on vacation?"
Of course, I'd never been to Disney, so I didn't know that EVERYTHING Disney does, it does well.
Epcot is an incredible park! We returned from a trip in January and are already saving our pennies (literally) to return as soon as possible.
EPCOT is broken down into two different sections of the park, Future World and the World Showcase. Future World has so much to see, you can spend time in Innoventions, which has a lot of hands on, interactive and educational activities for both kids and adults. Don't miss SOARIN' which is an amazing ride...Mission: SPACE is also a great ride, it's a simulated mission to Mars.
The World Showcase consists of 11 different countries...Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, The American Adventure, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom and Canada. This is a fantastic way to get a feel for the architecture, customs and food of each of these countries.
We spent a full day and a half in EPCOT and there is STILL more to see. I highly recommend this park for "kids" of any age! Enjoy!
I did enjoy EPCOT. We were there when it was very new, and it was really interesting.
I love this place! I haven't been there for a long time, but I can't wait to go back with my future kids! :-)
This is my favorite place at Disney World. Learning doesn't have to be boring you can have fun and learn alot at Epcot! I'll be there in September !
I love Epcot. It is my favorite park that Disney has. I probably like it the best because there are not that many rides which is good. I love the future world as well. Lots of neat stuff to look at.
I LOVE Epcot but really did not think my son would. We took him when he was 5 and surprisingly, Epcot was his favorite park by far.
I love Epcot and Disney sure gets it right, it is both educational and fun for everyone. I want to go back, feel like I still have so much more to see there.
