When we bought our new printer, CANON Pixma iP1980, I also bought this EPSON A4 Glossy Photo Paper. There are times that I need to print pictures from our digital camera so instead of going into a film/photo developer which is one ride from the house I preferred having this glossy photo paper in case the need arises. The photo paper has the rough side of it while smooth and glossy on the other side. Having it glossy and smooth that will help me save money from its ink. Our CANON printer's original inks are quite expensive and a representative told us that it expires in 6 months time. That's more than half of a school year so I'm pretty sure I can make use of it 100%.

I don't have a hard time if my kids' schools are asking for a family picture or individual photos of family members because I have it in print already. With this glossy photo paper I can print hard to find pictures of specific animals, land forms, sea forms and other pictures rarely found in magazines. Also, looking for pictures in magazines is very time consuming so thanks to this photo paper I can do it easily and more convenient.
