Epson Multifunction Printer

The Epson Stylus Multifunction printer is a great tool for my home. It prints, copies and scans, all for under $100.00. I am a scrapbooker and this printer fits the bill for me. I have tried several printers previously and this one has been my favorite . It is very easy to use. Loading the paper, changing the individual ink cartridges,and cleaning are all very simple to do. I have printed on regular paper as well as cardstock and have never once had a paper jam! That is impressive to me!

The print quailty is wonderful. Both text and graphics print very clear, with true colors and no smudging. I also have printed numerous photos with wonderful success. This printer produces very sharp, clean photos and it does so very quickly. Scanning and copying work very easily and quickly as well.The printer itself it very durable and sturdy for the $89.99 price.

My only complaint is the need to replace the ink cartridges so often. In comparison to other printers, maintaining the ink levels with the Espon, is expensive. You can buy the individual color cartrdiges for about $12 - $17 each. With regular usage I find myself replacing several a month. It is the one aspect of the Epson CX5000 that I am unhappy with.

The ease of using this printer , as well as the quality of products it produces, does outweigh the one negative in my opinion.
