It's cold and flu season, so my husband decided to invest in Equate Air Health Effervescent Immune Boosting Formula Dietary Supplement. We gave some to our kids, and I tried a couple of tablets myself.
The effervescent formula can be added either to hot or cold water. The supplement contains 100% Daily Value of vitamin A, 1667% DV of vitamin C, 100% DV of vitamin E, 10% DV of magnesium, 53% DV of zinc, 21% DV of Selenium, 150% DV of manganese, and traces of other nutrients. It also contains an L-Lysine and L-Glutamine amino acid blend.
The product has a very pleasant lemon-lime flavor, and is pleasant to drink. I can't say for certain if it really boosts the immune system. My son is sick today with what seems to be the stomach flu, so I took a dose. At this time, I don't feel that I'm getting what he's got, even though I have been in close contact with him. The product seems like a very good idea to me, and it certainly is worth the money just to get the nutritional supplement.
