Equate Anti Aging Face Lotion By Jennifer Claerr on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Equate Fact Lotion is a multi-vitamin facial treatment, containing alpha-hydroxy acid, and an SPF 15 sunscreen. It is similar to Neutrogena Healthy Skin face lotion, but far less expensive. The bottle contains 2.5 fluid ounces of product. I used this lotion for several months until it ran out. The active ingredients are Oxinoxate at 7.5% and Oxybenzone at 5.0%. I found that the product was very effective at protecting my skin from the sun, and it helped to keep my skin supple and wrinkle free. However, I'm not so sure that the alpha hydroxy acid is more effective than other products. A similar product, Equate Complete Beauty Lotion with SPF 15 Sunscreen, was similarly effective and yet cost dramatically less. It also contained several times more product, providing 6 ounces of moisturizer as opposed to only 2.5 ounces provided the more expensive product. Although I felt that the product was effective and safe for my sensitive, acne-prone aging skin, I did not feel that it was worth the extra price for the very small amount of product.

I have always been a little suspicious of the no name store brand knock offs wondering if they work just as well, so I like to hear what other people have to say based on their experience. Thanks for reviewing this!
