Equate Baby Oil By AutumnRose on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I absolutely hate having dry skin. Tight, itchy skin drives me crazy. To avoid dry skin I moisturize right after I bathe or shower. I'm too impatient to use creams or lotions so I decided to try baby oil. Equate Baby Oil does wonders for my skin. It's fast absorbing and spreads easily over my skin so I don't have to spend a lot of time rubbing it in. An even faster way to apply it is to add about a capful to the water when I have a bath. That way the oil has a chance to absorb while I'm relaxing in the bathtub. Please note that if you're going to put baby oil in your bath water, the bottom and sides of the bathtub may become very slippery. Because equate Baby Oil is formulated for babies, it has a very light, pleasant scent and is hypoallergenic. I use it on my two year old to keep his skin soft, as well. Costing less than two dollars for 460ml at Wal-Mart, equate Baby Oil is a great value!

My mom found something interesting about baby oil when she was a teenager: it's also good for dry hair! She has frizzy, red hair that's hard to control and always gets damaged because it's so dry, so when she was 17 she tried baby oil and to this day she still uses it instead of other styling products. I'm always envious of the slight sheen her hair has because it's like she just stepped out of a styling product commercial! I wouldn't recommend it for oily hair, though.
Sounds like a great baby oil at an even better price.
