Equate Children's Cold Allergy Elixir

I really like this cold and allergy medicine for my son who is 9. He gets colds or allergy attacks often and suffers from a very mild case of asthma. At the first sign of the sniffles, I try and nip things in the bud before he turns into a full blown cold and then an asthma attack is triggered. I usually reach for this product when that happens. It is the generic Wal-Mart brand, but works just as well as the pricier brand. It has a pleasant grape taste that my son doesn't mind taking. It works quickly to stop the cold and allergy symptons and usually helps him to get some rest. He takes two teaspoons and the dosage is, of course, based on the age and weight of the child. Adults can take this product as well, but you have to take a much larger dose which can raise your cost. I recommend this product.
