I have to start this review by letting everyone know that I have Fibromyalgia. If you aren't familiar with it, it is an autoimmune disorder that causes pain in the muscles, ligaments and tendons among other life altering problems but the pain is the focus of this review.

Fibromyalgia pain is extreme and at times it makes it hard to do the simplest of things. Sometimes it can get so bad it's hard to get out of bed in the morning. I've tried many different prescriptions to help alleviate the pain associated with this disease and nothing has helped very much. At times I have found something that works but it doesn't take long for your body to build up an immunity to it. Prescription drugs are expensive and it's hard to keep trying them and paying out the money when so many haven't worked.

Early on I discovered that Ibuprofin relieves my pain better than anything I've ever tried. I honestly don't know what I would do without it. I started out using the name brand Ibuprofin (the one that starts with an A) but when you use it a lot that gets expensive too. One day I decided to try the store brand and found it works just well and is about a 3rd of the price of the name brand. I have been using Equate Ibuprofin for years now and it does wonders for me. If I feel pain coming on I will take it and it usually keeps it from progressing any further. If I haven't been able to keep the pain from setting in I will take it as soon as I can and usually within an hour I am feeling better. It's not a cure by any means but it sure makes it easier to get through the day sometimes.

If you use Ibuprofin I would definitely recommend giving Equate a try, it works just as well and will save you a lot of money!
