Equate Is Equivalent! By sizwizz on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

A couple years ago, I came down with some crud... sore throat, fever... the whole deal. I went to the doctor to make sure I didn't have strep throat, and it turned out I had something viral. Nothing you can do about that, except to tough it out. The doctor recommended I take Extra Strength Tylenol to ease the sore throat pain, and fever. So after I left the clinic I dragged myself to Wal-Mart to buy my Tylenol. Ugh. I just wanted to open the bottle right there in the aisle to make me stop feeling miserable!

Before I grabbed a box of Tylenol, I noticed the equivalent Equate brand sitting on the shelf next to it. Hmmmm... $10.00+ versus $3.84. I read the ingredients, and they in comparison they were a match. The milligrams and the number of tablets were the same, but in price comparison, the Equate brand had it won hands-down! So, of course my choice was made.

When I finally got home, I took one (yes, only one!) of the Equate Extra Strength Pain Reliever. The recommendation is two tablets every 6 hours. Within a half hour, I started to feel some relief from my sore throat and fever. It turned out to be just what the doctor ordered! (Literally!) The Equate Extra Strength Pain Reliever helped me endure the time it took for me to get over my virus. So not only do I feel better physically, I feel good about my money saving choice of pain reliever.
