Equate Multipack Tampons By Lorianna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have been using Equate tampons for quite a while, and I find this generic brand just as good, or even better, than some better known brands I have tried. Equate tampons come in 4 absorbency types: Light, Regular, Super, and Super Plus. Each is sold separately, or you can buy the first 3 in a package called Multipack.

I usually buy Multipack because it is very convenient and thoughtfully put together. It has 40 tampons: 4 light ones, 18 regular ones, and 18 with super absorbency. I never use Super Plus, so I don't mind that it is not included in this pack. The tampons have a cardboard applicator that you can safely flush - it is biodegradable. The applicator has a locking feature that keeps its two parts from coming apart. The "lock" is just a puncture, so it is easily overcome when you insert the tampon and need the applicator parts to move; you just apply some pressure. Insertion is easy and smooth.

Equate tampons are comfortable and very reliable. I have never had one leak on me, no matter what I do - walk, exercise, or even swim. This is the brand I trust.

I may have to try these instead of my usual Tampax.
