Equate Personal Lubricant By missmystical on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Equate Personal Lubricant Jelly is the generic version of KY Jelly. I have tried both products and have noticed no difference between the two. Equate is cheaper and just as effective, so I buy it instead. Equate Personal Lubricant is water-based so it is safe to use with condoms. It is not greasy and has no scent. My husband and I have found this product to be effective in reducing friction during intercourse. There are only two drawbacks in my opinion of this lubricant. The first is the shockingly cold sensation the gel gives me when applied. The second is it is a little thick and messy compared to natural lubrication, which can be unpleasant. It does not include spermicide, so if you are trying to avoid pregnancy this product is not for you. Overall we have been pleased with this lubricant and will continue to use it in the future.

While I have not used this, I have used Equate products in the past and have yet to be disappointed with what they put out.

I too have used many Equate products and have found them to be just a good as the brand name counterparts.

Thanks for sharing that product and your experience too.

Equate products tend to be pretty darn good. Best thing they are available at a fraction of the cost of the others.
