I've had insomnia for almost 10 years unfortunately so I frequently buy sleeping pills so I can get to sleep at night. First off, Equate's brand of softgels are extremely reasonably priced which I like. For 32 soft gels, it is just $3.45 at Walmart which will last me at least one month. Each softgel has 50 mg of Diphenhydramine HCI. I usually sleep soundly for a good six hours and sometimes more with this product. It takes about 1 hour or so before I start to get drowsy. There are a few downsides for me with these softgels. For awhile I was taking another sleep aid where Diphenhydramine was only 25 mg and because these are liquid filled softgels, obviously I can't cut it in half and save the rest for the next night. Pills would be better in this instance but this product gave me the most for my money. Also I seem to get quite irritable after I have taken a softgel. Overall, I am happy with Equate's Sleep Aid Liquidcaps and will continue to purchase them in the future.
