Equity Line

Over the years my husband and I accrued some serious debt.It all began with that darn wedding and honeymoon.Then came our premature son slightly less than a year latertwo hospitalizations for him, a surgery for my hubby, and outrageously priced medication for our sonit all added up!Yikes!

Well, a friend of mine at work was talking one day about an equity line she and her husband were getting through First Citizens Bank to pay off some of their debts.So I too looked into this.And it was WONDERFUL!We got a home equity line of credit.The bank gave us a check book that we could actually write checks to the account on.Then the money would be taken from the balance that we were approved to borrow and we paid just a small amount back each monthlike a credit card only much better interest!

But, keep in mind, this is not for the weak at heartremember that this line of credit is directly tied to your HOME!And that is one thing you dont want to loose!
