Erase Your Strech Marks! By Kalin Na on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have old stretch marks from growing and newer stretch marks from gaining/losing weight. I know they're normal and that probably 98% or so of women have them, but DANG do I hate them!

I've seen product after product promise to get rid of stretch marks, and I've always been VERY skeptical. Also, most of these products cost WAY more than I'm to just throw away if they don't work! So when I saw someone raving about Bio-Oil, I was intrigued but I didn't want to get my hopes up. Upon looking it up on the internet, I was very excited to see that it only costs about $12. Ok, that's not going to break the bank! Also, I can get it at my local drug store, so no shipping costs!

It is a very liquidy moisturizer. I was expecting more of a cream, but now that I've used Bio-Oil, I like the liquid -- it's absorbed into the skin very quickly as you massage it in and you don't get that greasy or tacky feeling from having the moisturizer just sitting on top of your skin.

The BEST part of all is that I had VERY visible effects on my stretch marks! It faded them quite a bit, especially the old ones (and if you've ever done any reading on stretch marks, you know that they say these are the hardest to get rid of)! I was SO excited to see them fade away!

I would, without a doubt, recommend Bio-Oil to anyone to try! It has a great smell, it's easy to use (just massage it in twice a day) and... IT WORKS! Best of all, it's truly an affordable option. And if for some reason it doesn't work on your stretch marks, it makes a GREAT moisturizer! My skin felt so soft and smooth where I had used the Bio Oil!

So if you have stretch marks or scars that you are looking to fade OR if you think you are going to get some (ie: if you're pregnant), try Bio-Oil! It just may be the best $12 you'll spend this year!

I'm going to have to check if I can find this anywhere near me. I have a lot of stretchmarks from growing, and I recenty got a whole bunch of really bad ones from being pregnant. Hopefully it's not a U.S.-only product.
