Ergonomic Computer Glove

Reviewing: Imak Computer Glove
Purchased at: Office Max     Price: $12.99 USD

I was at OfficeMax buying some DVDs recently and then I turned around to look at the new computer products on the shelf behind me.I am always looking at the new accessories they have to make using the computer more comfortable.

I have a wrist pillow by IMAK which I use daily and I love! This is a product that works in a similar way. This is the IMAK Computer Glove. It is super soft and comfortable to wear.It slips on easily and holds your wrist in an ergonomic position without feeling restrictive. It is light grey, just like my wrist pillow. It is washable and the great thing about it is that it's reversible! It can be worn on either hand just by turning it inside out.

This product, like my wrist pillow, was also made by an Orthopedic Surgeon. It has the ergoBeads on the bottom of the glove. (see picture) I have a very hard surface on my pullout drawer that my keyboard sits on.It is very uncomfortable to use the way it was made. After about an hour, my wrists are hurting. This helps to cushion and hold my wrists in the correct position.I forget I have it on after a few minutes of using the glove.

This is a product that you could use for a desktop, laptop or for gaming. The glove is designed to fit most sizes of hands because it stretches.I had my husband try it on and he said it did fit his hand perfectly too. When it needs to be washed, just hand wash it in cold water and let it air dry.

I think this is a great product, but I have one concern.Since both of my wrists need this type of cushion when typing on the keyboard....I'd have to buy two of these computer gloves to be comfortable.Guess I'll be looking at OfficeMax again soon for something better.

I was thinking the same thing-you would have to buy two of these-I'm surprised it doesn't come as a set!

I have carpal and the wrist restraints do not allow me to type properly so a rarly wear them while working and pay for it later! These would definetly solve my problem of immobility while providing much needed support for my wrists. Too bad they weren't sold as a set!

This sounds like something that might work for me.

I have the flesh colored ones that you get in the drug store. They are very thin and add support when I need it but I'm right handed and that wrist hurts me more. These look pretty good too.
