Erie Insurance, can they be any slower?
By tldann onI was in an automobile accident in 2004.It was the other drivers fault. The other driver had Erie Insurance.I suffered a concussion, and sprained shoulder, a torn disc in my neck and whiplash. My 18 month old son got a bump on his head that caused a trauma and a growth. The growth had to be removed twice. The other driver was charged, he admitted fault but here it is 2008 and I still haven't recieved a settlement.I had to get a lawyer and we have been fighting this for almost 4 years. The other driver admitted fault, so why hasn't his insurance company payed the bills?I did not ask for a lot of money. All I want is for them to pay the doctor bills period. It was thier clients fault, he said so and the policeman said so.So why are they being so slow about paying the bills?Be very careful if you ever need themt o settle anything for you.

Four years!? That's terrible! I'm sorry this happened to you. I will avoid Erie for sure! I hope your case is resolved soon.
That is when you really find out what a company is worth, when you have a claim. Glad you have this chance to warn others about this company.
Sure sounds like a bad one to have to deal with.
I'm so sorry you are dealing with this... there is no excuse for them being 4 years late. Hopefully you can get enough to pay your lawyer too!
This was the insurance we had to deal with my daughter was in her accident. It was months before they came through with the money they owed us. This was the insurance company of the man who hit her. It was a major hassle and she did not even get the amount she was suppose to get. We should have sued, but we just tried to avoid a long wait period.
