Essence of Beauty Heated Eyelash Curler
By cafn8me onYep...you read that right: this product rates a big fat ZERO!I really wanted to like this battery-operated eyelash curler. The beauty product junkie in me loved the idea of a heated eyelash curler. It stands to reason that lashes curled using heat would curl easily and stay curled longer, right?Well, I gave it more than a fair try, but this may well be one of the worst beauty products I have ever encountered.
I have tried countless beauty gadgets and gizmos, so it's not like I didn't know what I was doing with this thing. But it's so poorly designed and made that I can't give it more than a zero for any of the features named in this review.
The directions were simple enough - I inserted the 2 AAA batteries (included), turned the switch to ON, and waited for the curler pad to turn from orange to clear. Then I positioned my lashes in the curler, squeezed the handle gently but firmly, and counted 15 seconds. When I released my lashes, I was completely disappointed...it looked like I hadn't done ANYTHING to them! There wasn't even a HINT of curl to be found!Several more attempts got me a similar lack of results, and I finally came to the conclusion that I had purchased a lemon of a product.
This sad little piece of plastic is going right back to CVS.I'll stick with my tried-and-true Revlon eyelash curler...for now, at least.

I got one of these things off ebay...what a waste of money...it's still sitting on my dresser :( I love my eyelash curler better too. At least that one is a sure thing!
I've never tried heated eyelash curlers, I always use my trusty Maybelline it works really great. I was thinking about trying a heated one but I guess its not worth it :/
