I have always seen Estee Lauder Pleasures Eau de Parfum in imported fashion magazines. They have a lot of advertising and I wondered how it smelled. I thought, this must be really good. Okay, I got hyped up with advertising.

Then one Christmas, my aunt from the United States sent a package to all of us her relatives here in the Philippines. And guess what? For me, she got me a small bottle (15 ml) of the Estee Lauder Pleasures. Needless to say, I was sooo happy!!!

I was so excited to try it on that I took a bath and spritz it on me. In a single instant, I was sorely disappointed!

This perfume is so strong, its scent so intense. And the scent reminds me of a local flower bougainvillea when it full bloom. I used to like bougainvillea, but after I tried Estee Lauder Pleasures, I loathed it. I don't know. Maybe it is the intensity. But when I sprayed it, I felt like throwing up. I felt dizzy. I did not experience this with other perfumes.

So anyway, in short, this fragrance is not for me. I have used it a couple more times on different occasions, thinking that maybe in different places, the effect will be different. But it is still the same. So I have not used it anymore.
