Eureka Boss Smart Vac

The Eureka Boss Smart Vac Pet Lovers Upright Vacuum is a big disappointment! I paid 170.00 at our local store. The Eureka is yellow in color and stands out on the shelf with its sleek design and onboard attachments. It has numerous features and a Consumer Digest Best Buy! This is not my best buy and I highly recommend you avoid this product. I have another brand which I've owned for years but felt I needed to buy something new with all the gadgets and perks. Big mistake! I purchased this vacuum because I was really impressed with the looks-name -and features. I took it home and used it only a few times on my berber carpet andoops "the belt broke." So much for that well oiled machine! New isn't always better. The belt is black and like a thin paper type material. Where's the rubber! A thing of the past. What were they thinking making this belt? Needless to say, back in the box with you to get my money back. Here's the other problems: It is hard to push. Eureka hurts your back. For some reason, the vacuum must sit lower or something because I had to bend more. I mean really bend. The cord is positioned awkwardly so it is just in the way while you are holding it and vacuuming. Do yourself a favor and avoid this vacuum and its headaches! Looks can be disceiving! Stick with that old reliable vac! I know I am...for sure!
