We bought the Euro-Pro Convection Taoaster Oven hoping to have an alternative to cooking in the oven and also to be able to cook faster using the technology of convection. We have had mixed results with this toaster. Although, the appliance is the size of a small microwave, the inside is just barely large enough for a small pizza or a small casserole dish. We have not found the convection cooking in this toaster oven to be a faster way to cook than the traditional oven. It works for broiling hot dogs, but requires that you pre-heat and even then, it takes quite a while. We also like toast that is pre-buttered and toasted under a broiler and the Euro-Pro Convection Toaster Oven will work for that-but once again, you must pre-heat and not be in a hurry. The Euro-Pro Convection Toaster Oven has a Temperature range of 150-450 degrees F. The settings are warm, broil, bake, toast and grill. The broil, bake, and grill settings are the ones that work with convection. The times can be set for up to 60 minutes. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best, I would rate this product as a 3. We still use our pop up toaster and our electric range/oven and microwave most of the time.If it were not for the fact that we love toast that is pre-buttered and toasted and grilled hotdogs instead of microwaved ones-I would not think that this toaster was worth the considreable amount of counter space it occupies.
