If you have read any other books by Lori Wick, or you just love a wonderful, touching, Christian romance, then you should definitely pick up a copy of this book. It is a fabulous story about loss & love and God's amazing grace.

Set in the mid-1940's, the story is about 2 sisters, Lorraine & Josie who live away from home as teachers, but on a flight over the Pacific, their plane crashes, leaving only Lorraine alive to survive not only the elements, but also to keep cover from Japanese war planes and to bury her sister & the pilot. Thankfully, before she herself dies of starvation, she is rescued by a PT Boat captained by Leuitenent Donavan Riggs. Brought back to America & reunited with her family, she has to come to grips with the fact that she no longer has her sister in her life. But as her body & heart heal, Donovan Riggs comes back into her life and through the experiences they shared together, they learn to grow together as a couple.

This book is just such a great story and a great romance and it's one you won't want to put down.
